surf chick

somebody ask you, what did you did last weekend? then u answer, well not much! just surfing! [haha! naka nman! ang yabang!] ehem! ehem! yep! as you all know, we @ Travel Factor have been hosting a series of surfing events... my partners, leia and tikoy have always invited me to come and after 9 waves, i finally give in! yahuj! i have now conquered the waves of the famous surf spot of La Union. i'm not saying im now a pro at it, i can still remember how my arms ached and how much water i faced during the wild waves. it is really not as easy as it looks. you better get a hold of urself and prepare for hardwork. i guarantee you 100% your arms will scream, that's if you exerted real effort on trying to be a "surfer". i get to stand on my board but not long enough for my photographer [leia] to take a shot. well, she did catch me on video falling down. [bwisit!]

all in all there were 4 vans that we brought there, 2 of which have stayed coz 29 is a holiday. so in short ang cool.. ang dami.... its been a fun activity even its hard. my instructor ronnie, was only 16yrs old. he did had a hard time too with the waves sa oras ng aming "paglalaro" [filipino slang ng surfing, haha!] kht na 4 na taon na ngang ginagawa un. there was a time that i had my board hit my "batok" [anong english nun?] so, u see... its pretty dangerous. a rashguard is a must. so peeps who worry to much of their body, worry no more. one thing i've learned, in this sport.... its not all about confidence. as the locals say.... you need to respect the water, respeto sa dagat, pare! aminin mo mas malaki at malakas sya syo... kukunin ka nya kung gus2 nya.... so, learn when you need to stop! on a lighter side, ung sunset... a must see. :D

nweiz, this has been a nyc learning experience for me as an organizer of this event. i salute leia and tyx! next time sana i can do the same thing. this was also a reunion for me and leia.... grabe, missed you leia. mwuah! its been a nyc chance to meet a range of peeps that are total strangers to me, at least i'v proved that i'm really friendly. here i finally met the famous "papa luke" sabi nga nila pti lalake, un ang tawag. well, for me ---- yeah, pwede na. i got a different impression on him. nweiz, i then understand why the alias.... its the whole physical package that justified it and the shorts... the magic shorts that just holds no matter what.... amazing, pare! he is one of the reason why we can invite a lot of girls --- sorry luke, just pure business! [haha!] he's nyc and very accomodating, we are blessed that we met him for Travel Factor. he's been teaching Mrs. President and daughter Lulie, jericho and heart, lui of MUB, etc. [bigatin d b?] he deserved whatever compliment you give him. [naks! luke, libre mo ko isang session]

sidestrips was great! kumpleto ang sidetrips nmin... midway grill, isdaan then kart city! wohoo! now i know that our clients are in good hands. Surfvivor is the way to surf. kaya come on! let's join us in our next waves!
